1/10 Scale Electric Rally/Touring Car:
HPI Cup Racer - Datsun 240Z - # 100594 (Radio Controlled Model Review)History and Info:
Introduced by HPI (Hobby Products International) in 2009, the Datsun 240Z - # 100594 - based on the Cup Racer - True Ten Scale Touring Car chassis,(This model is not quite a 1/10 Scale, and not a 1/12 Scale either, but for simplicity I have listed it as a 1/10) came as an unassembled kit, with a clear lexan bodyshell but no electrics or radio system. A number of other bodyshell options were available (Check out our HPI Archive).

Soldering Battery Packs
Nicad and Nimh batteries sometimes come as six separate matched 1.2 volt cells. These of course have to be soldered to each other in series to produce either a side by side stick pack, or a two times three cell saddle pack.
