Released by Kyosho circa 1991, the Thunderbird Stock Car - # 3076 / KYOC0519 - was based on the Rampage Buggy chassis, and classed as an intermediate level model. The chassis came partly assembled, with a clear lexan Bodyshell, an OS CZ-R Engine with recoil pull-start, and foam Tires. A Radio System to be purchased separately.
The 2WD model is based on an alloy plate chassis, with a gear type differential, coil spring over oil filled dampers, dogbone drive-shafts and bushings.
To get the best from the Kyosho Thunderbird, it needs to be fine tuned, to provide precise steering response and improve grip when cornering, so you don't slide off the track.
