1/10 Scale Electric Monster Truck:
Himoto Vega Monster Truck - HI2101 / HI2101BL

Introduced by Himoto Racing circa 2007, the 4WD Vega Monster Truck, later re-named the EMXT-1 - was available RTR with either a brushed 540 motor, 7.2v 1800Mah NiMh battery and F/R ESC - # HI2101 - or with a brushless motor, 7.2v 2000Mah NiMh battery and 75A ESC - # HI2101BL. A third top spec version was also introduced - # HI2101TOP - with a brushless motor, 11.1v LiPo battery and 80A ESC.
The model is shaft driven, on a molded plastic chassis, with alloy top deck, gear type differentials, 8 x coil spring over oil filled dampers, dogbone drive-shafts, bushings and ball bearings.
This model was also available from HSP Racing as the Brontasaurus Pro.
To race the Himoto Vega Monster Truck, it requires a high level of tuning for improved stability when cornering, to keep it on the track and give you more grip under acceleration.
