   As you progress past the initial RTR kit and supplied standard radio equipment, choosing a more advanced Radio Transmitter can be confusing for RC beginners, and can be an expensive waste of money if you don't get it right the first time.

   This article was written based on my own early experiences, hopefully to help those looking to advance in the sport, not make the mistakes I did.
